Wordle.net provides a fun little tool for writers. You can paste your story into their applet, and it will create a cloud of the most common words it finds. It automatically removes numbers and "the", "to", and other common English words.
My most common word is back! How on Earth is that possible?
So here's my first novel in a wordcloud.

A lot of characters must want to get back home to get back at their relatives or go back to basics or back up the car with bad backs or something.
I love Wordle, especially the way you can play with fonts and colors. And it's so cool to see your own words. :D
Very cool. I just wanted to let you know that I'm over here following you from Jon Paul's and Postman's blogs.
Good one, Postman!
Tricia, I agree! It's fun.
Thanks, sarahjayne. Nice to meet you, or as they say here. Hajimemashite, yoroshiku onegaishimasu!
For some reason I can't get it to work, oh well. Sadly I have an idea of the words I overuse "incredibly", "Completely", "ass", and "heart"...so the Ass had a completely incredible heart?
This is so cool! I'll have to check this site out for myself.
